Product Tooling

There are numerous ways to make a tool for Vacuum/ Thermo forming. Selection of tool depends on the type and thickness of the Plastic sheet to be used, Quantity of product required and dimensional accuracy requirement. Commonly used materials for Tools of prototype are high quality wood and Epoxy resin. But production tooling is done on high quality Aluminium blocks and plates. For large size moulds, Aluminium casting is done from a wooden casting pattern. Dimensional machining and finishing of the casted mould will be done on various machines.
